Does not fit .308 / 5⁄8×24, and will not clear most handguards under 1.5 in inside diameter.

Most comps in this price range are investment-cast and the ports come out uneven, which you feel as a rifle that walks left. This one is machined from bar stock and the ports are cut on the same setup, so recoil comes straight back.
It is loud. Everything that works this well is loud. If you shoot next to other people at a covered line, buy the flash hider and accept the recoil, or accept that you'll be unpopular.
